McAfee Auctions first online sale took place last Thursday in our Ballymoney auction rooms. The auction billed as 'The Interiors Sale' included one lady's collection, and the sale was hosted online by www.the-saleroom.com and proved to be very successful.
In total internet purchasers and under bidders were involved in approximately 20% of the lots’ for sale and items were sold to buyers in six different countries. Achieving top prices on the evening were:
£1450 for a very nice dress ring
£650 for a silver mounted perfume bottle
£1400 for a set of silver ingots
£900 for a Cecil Maguire small oil
James Stewart Vienna clock £600
Claude Reeves oil painting £500
Choice of J P Rooney oils £500
Silver jewellery box £190
